LED vs Flourescent

Avio-Tech Ltd. has been providing sturdy fixed and removable lighting used in ASF ISO shelters since 2008 and has recently added the LED option for improved lighting performance and durability.

The model 17-2-1993-2 removable Fluorescent fixture utilizes a 32-Watt tube producing 2,900 lumens while the LED version, model A50021-002, uses a 23 Watt LED producing 3,100 lumens. The LED advantages are a 28% reduction in power, 7% increase in light generation and 66% increase in service life.

The following represents a comparison between removable lighting currently provided for ASF ISO Shelters 17-2-1993-2 and a LED alternative, A50021-002, both “removable fixtures”. The LED version is pictured below.
